Suhas paranjape iit kanpur
(Hons.) degree in Chemical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Mumbai. After graduation, he spent a few years as a full time activist in the ShramikSanghatana in the adiwasi areas in Shahade in the now Nanburbar District of Maharashtra.
Subsequently he has worked on alternative and participative development as a Researcher with the Centre for Applied Systems Analysis in Deelopment (CASAD) and the Society for Promoting Participative Ecosystem Management (SOPPECOM) and has retired from the latter as Senior Research fellow.
He has been closely associated with a number of movements. Alongwith his colleagues he has contributed to many books, chapters in edited volumes and articles and research
