Wendy Valdez and her husband Normann Garcia have remained optimistic about the medical condition of their son Seth.

Their baby boy, who turned one on June 11, was born with spina bifida—which was defined by as a type of neural tube defect where "a baby&#;s spine and spinal cord don&#;t develop properly in the womb, causing a gap in the spine."

They learned about Seth&#;s condition on the fourth month of Wendy&#;s pregnancy.

Early this month, in a conversation with an Instagram follower, the former model revealed, "Ako, hindi namin alam if makakalakad si Seth.

"Pero kung ano magagawa namin, gagawin namin, the rest is up to God kung yun ang plano niya para kay Seth.

"Nalulungkot din ako kapag nakikita ko mga bata na kasabay niya na nakakalakad, pero wala ko magagawa kung iba ang istorya niya."
